Frequently Asked Questions

FOR CLIENTS

Q: What sort of reporting measures do you offer for each event or campaign?

A: Whatever a client prefers. We have typically used photos, recap reports (either created by Atlas or by the client) written by Managers, and sometimes we can track certain metrics quantitatively so we incorporate those as well.

Q: What happens if you can’t find staff in a certain market?

A: We will be up-front about our capabilities in the beginning. The last thing we want is to make promises we can’t keep and leave a client hanging. If we aren’t sure whether or not we’ll be able to recruit high-quality student staff in time for your event or campaign, we’ll tell you during our first conversation and keep you updated.

Q: What happens if something goes wrong and it’s your fault we don’t execute an event or campaign at one or more campuses?

A: We’re straightforward in everything we do. If we do something wrong and it costs you an entire event or campaign at any campus, we aren’t going to charge you for the campus(es). Of course, not every issue or unsuccessful campaign is our fault. Ultimately we promise to be honest and fair in everything we do, especially when it comes to the success of our clients’ campaigns.

FOR AMBASSADORS

Q: I’m a student and I want to sign up to work promotional events and campaigns for Atlas. How do I sign up?

A: Simply shoot an email to Dan at dan@atlascollegemarketing.com with your resume and a brief description of yourself so we can get to know you. We’ll give you a call and if you are a good fit for our events and campaigns, we’ll add you to our database and reach out about events on your campus!

Q:I’m a student and I haven’t received a check in 4 weeks. What should I do?

A: Something is definitely wrong, because we typically send checks out THE DAY AFTER THE EVENT. Sometimes we’re a little backed up, but it should never take more than 3 weeks for you to get your check. Shoot us an email (dan@atlascollegemarketing.com or ashley@atlascollegemarketing.com) and we’ll see what happened. It’s not a problem to send a replacement check, and since we’re not a huge company with lots of red tape, we’ll be able to get to the bottom of the situation immediately.

Q: I’m the head of a student org. If we provide outgoing, professional students to work your events and campaigns, could we receive one check made out to our organization rather than have you pay each student individually? We raise money for a philanthropy / for our organization and this would be a great way to raise even more!

A: Absolutely! We have done this plenty of times. We can also do a mix of both – give a portion of each student’s pay to them individually, and also send you a check for the remaining portion so you can donate it to your philanthropy or use it for your organization. Atlas got its name from a philanthropic student org Dan was in at Penn State, so we’d love to help support your philanthropic efforts!
